Present at the conference Krzysztof Oleksowicz, founder and the main shareholder of Inter Cars, mentioned that his adventure with automotive market started by chance. The reasons for his success, he can see in adapted from the very beginning business model, which basis are:
  • innovation in courageously taken activities,
  • consistent following rules of fair play,
  • partnership, which in relation to employees means seeing common targets, guarantee suppliers mutual business advantages, and for customers, i.e. mostly garages and shops, insightful analysing of their most important problems.
According to Krzysztof Oleksowicz, also passion, involvement, entrepreneurship and... luck, or in other words intuition, were not without a meaning.  During his speech he also mentioned some of the less working projects and moments of doubt which accompanied them.  One of them was establishment of Feber Company, manufacturer of semi-trailers for trucks, which generated loss for the first several years.  The situation changed completely when Witold Kmieciak was appointed the president.  Currently Feber is a dynamically developing company, with its own construction office, operating on the basis of modern production methods (nest, short-series, for individual orders).

Quoting the title of the conference:  "Bridge to the future", the organizers informed all the guests about the plans and perspectives. In the nearest future, the company wants to concentrate its activities on two areas.  The first one is the biggest ever logistics project of the company, i.e. construction of ILS European Logistics and Development Centre in Zakroczym. The premises are planned to have 40k sqm. of storage area and will be equipped with the most modern logistics solutions in Europe.  The aim of the investment is to increase the flow of goods between suppliers and customers of Inter Cars.

The second area which the company wants to develop is expanding relations with customers by means of new technologies.  The starting point for these operations is Motointegrator.pl platform, which is on average visited by 500k to 1m users and car owners monthly.  On the basis of this experience, other platforms have been created, helping garages respond to customers' needs on the market of independent automotive services.  A part of them is the IC Programme for shopping malls, tested currently in Bronowice shopping mall in Krakow.  A customer of every shopping mall, which is a part of the programme, during shopping or using services of companies present in the mall, can delegate us to look after his car which will be serviced or repaired by a local repair garage.

At the end of the event Sylwester Stępień, CEO of Corporation Department of Pekao SA Bank, Katarzyna Bajerowska - director of the Credit Centre of City Handlowy SA bank and Barbara Krakowiak - director of the Corporation Centre of mBanku went onto the stage and handed congratulatory letters to surprised Oleksowicz, on the occasion of 25-anniversary of Inter Cars.

The culmination of the meeting was a birthday cake.  Together with the cake, Krzysztof Hołowczyc, media ambassador of IC Projects, appeared on the stage.  During his speech, the famous driver said:  "I am happy to have become the face of Inter Cars and Motointegrator. I love winning, and I want to win together with Inter Cars in this project too."
